About Sandydown

Sandydown Bodyworks carries a prestigious legacy in automotive craftsmanship, it forms an integral part of the renowned Marcos Motor Company. Our history is rooted in the precision and engineering excellence required to build and restore iconic sports cars. Today, we apply that same high-level expertise to modern accident repairs, ensuring every vehicle receives the meticulous care and professional finish that our heritage demands.

At the facility we are custodians of all official assets and manufacturing rights — Heritage assets include: original blueprints, technical drawings, and moulds—dating back to the very first vehicle in 1959.

Today, Sandydown proudly hosts Marcos Motor Company. It is the site where the Marcos Mosquito (Below) was first conceptualised, styled, and prototyped.

The facility has multiple buildings which provide a discreet design and development centre in addition to the independent bodyshop, valet area and storage facility and it also houses Marcos Heritage Spares, a dedicated global distributor and supplier of authentic components for all Marcos enthusiasts.
